Our library is a welcoming place where curiosity comes alive, stories open new worlds, and every student can discover the joy of reading. Ms. Liliana Howard, our librarian, helps students grow as confident readers, thoughtful researchers, creative thinkers, and lifelong learners.

Wooten uses a new library management system called Insignia. Students and families can access their library accounts through the student portal by searching for “My Library Account.”

Through engaging read-alouds, library lessons, book exploration, research support, and special literacy experiences, Ms. Howard encourages students to ask questions, explore their interests, and discover books that reflect both their own experiences and the diverse world around them. She also partners with teachers to support classroom learning and creates opportunities for students to build independence, imagination, and a strong sense of belonging.

At Wooten, we believe the library is more than a room filled with books. It is a place for discovery, connection, creativity, and wonder.
