Welcome to Wooten Elementary!

My name is Mrs. Leyla Olano and it is an honor to serve as the principal of this incredible school community.

I believe every child deserves two extraordinary gifts: an exceptional education that prepares them to thrive in life and a magical childhood they will always remember. Those two ideas are at the heart of everything we do at Wooten.

We put kids first in every decision we make. We do this by staying grounded in our three core commitments: Equity, Belonging, and High-Quality Instruction. We believe every child can learn, grow, and soar when they are known, supported, challenged, and loved.

Our vision is to create a school where students are excited to come each day, families feel welcomed as valued partners, and every staff member is empowered to make a lasting difference. We strive to cultivate a joyful community where curiosity is celebrated, relationships are treasured, and children discover not only what they can achieve, but also who they are becoming.
